Hi I’m Andrew Hill I first got started with this career right after I got out college I got a bachelor of sciences degree in digital film and video production from the Art institute Of Las Vegas. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. The first opportunity I got for working with any type of production was working at channel 10. I had worked there for about six years. I would really like to work mostly in the news filed for production and if I can I would like to work on documentaries.
What we did over at channel 10 is we do a lot of educational show and political. Some of the shows that I had worked on over their was Homework Hotline and that is a call in type show where students from Las Vegas would call in with help on there homework. Another show is Nevada Week In Review it is political show it keeps everyone up to date on the news in Las Vegas and in the country.
What I would love to do is to be able to work for CNN or possibly ESPN. My favorite thing to do most in this career is to work behind the camera I’m a little week with editing that is not my strong point in this filed I would like to get better at it. What I’m very well at in this field is studio production.
Why I love working behind the camera is because I like watching TV and movies so I had all ways wonder how they have got it onto the TV screen or the movie screen. Also working at channel 10 for a couple of years it had grown on me. I do have just about all the programs on my own computer.
I have final cut, DVD studio pro, adobo master collocation, and avid. I think that the program I’m most comfortable with is DVD studio pro. Some of the small things that I have done for school for projects are mostly documentaries. One was about the for Foreclosure in Las Vegas and the other one was on autism it was a walk over at the campus of UNLV as part of are final for the class.
